Student Academic Plan Source
Current Teacher plans link automatically. If a Teacher schedule was generated in this planner session, Student Mode inherits it immediately as the locked parent schedule. A saved Teacher JSON can be opened when working from another session/device. Standalone Student Plan is also fully supported: when Study Hours are enabled, the planner creates subject/scope-aware Student learning evidence from actual scheduled Study minutes. Only completed Student Study scopes can unlock Personal Tests and Personal Revision.
Standalone mode: Study Hours create the Student-owned learning progression. Every Study row is bound to a subject and an actual curriculum element or neutral Computed Progress Block, and completion is accumulated from scheduled Study minutes. Topic Practice / Topic Check remain supplemental and cannot unlock Revision or Personal Tests by themselves.

4. Core Hours & Feasibility Tuning
Review the recommended teaching requirement and adjust Configured Core Teaching Hours when Validate reports a teaching-capacity shortfall. Validate remains the authoritative feasibility decision.

Revision timing: Linked Student plans begin subject revision only after locked Teacher teaching completion. Standalone Student plans begin subject revision only after that subject's configured Core-Hour learning workload has been completed through actual scheduled, subject/scope-aware Study rows. Practice and Topic Check never count as completion evidence.
Personal Testing
Student testing is optional. Personal Tests are additional student practice tests and never replace locked Teacher assessments. Revision Tests are scheduled only after their prerequisite revision scope has been completed.
Personal Tests
Mode capability
Select subjects to calculate Personal-Test mode coverage.
After Topic uses the completed Student Study scope; algorithmic subjects remain explicitly labelled Progress Blocks. Chapter/Unit choices require verified hierarchy. HF6 calculates capability immediately for every selected subject: unsupported global modes are marked PARTIALLY AVAILABLE or UNAVAILABLE before Validate/Generate, and Progress Blocks are never substituted as Chapters or Units.
Revision Tests
For “After Each Subject Revision Allocation”, one Revision Test is created per subject only after that subject reaches its configured revision target.
Core Teaching excludes: formal assessments, revision examinations, independent study, topic practice/check, breaks and holidays. Recommended Core Hours now use the accepted Deep-Dive Teaching Hours Master for all approved Tier A, B and C subjects. Configured Core Hours remain editable for feasibility tuning. Chapter/Unit counts are exposed only when the curriculum source explicitly proves that hierarchy; algorithmic workload blocks never create textbook structure.
5. Availability
Subject-staff and Student availability are entered as independent Morning and Afternoon sessions. Morning is limited to 12:00 AM–11:59 AM; Afternoon is limited to 12:00 PM–11:59 PM.
Global Teacher AvailabilityApply one AM/PM preset to every selected teacher across all 7 days. Student availability is not changed.
Select AM and/or PM to apply the preset globally. Unchecking a global session disables that session for every teacher/day without changing Student availability.
↔Hold the mouse on the table and drag left/right to view more availability columns. The horizontal scrollbar remains available.

Independent Study Rules
Independent Study activities are optional. Study Hour, Daily Topic Practice and Daily Topic Check are all excluded by default.
Enable only the activities you want the planner to generate. Study Hour can participate in feasibility when enabled; Topic Practice and Topic Check remain supplemental.
Study Hour
Linked mode: one Study session is planned against actual Teacher teaching dates. Standalone mode: Study becomes the explicit Student learning programme and is distributed across Student availability until the selected subjects' configured Core-Hour learning workload is completed. Every row identifies its subject and learning scope; any uncompleted workload is reported as a Study shortfall.
Daily Topic Practice
Linked mode follows topics taught that day. Standalone mode attaches Practice to a planned/completed Student Study scope. Practice remains supplemental and never proves learning completion.
Daily Topic Check
Diagnostic only; never replaces a formal assessment. Standalone Topic Check may reference the Study scope but remains supplemental and never proves learning completion or unlocks a test/revision by itself.
Session Break Rule: a continuous session shorter than 2h 30m has no break. For a continuous session of 2h 30m or longer, only the morning 10-minute break, 1-hour lunch and/or afternoon 10-minute break actually spanned by that session are reserved. Adjacent AM/PM sessions are treated as one continuous session.

Planning Rules & Guide
Academic rules, scheduling decisions, capacity logic and outputs.
Configure the programme, curriculum, subjects, availability and assessments; validate capacity; then generate the schedule.
Assessment Rules
v1.0-HF1 competitive assessment preservation: Integrated curriculum/Core workload remains grade-resolved and Repeater remains combined. Applicable Unit Test and Half-Syllabus papers remain required prerequisite gates. The applicable Full-Syllabus paper plus PYQ, Mock, Grand Test and AITS are selectable with preloaded paper count and duration in minutes. Grade-incompatible 11th/12th/Combined milestones remain controlled and unavailable. Half-Syllabus boundaries continue to be computed from ordered verified curriculum and Configured Core Hours, snapped to a genuine Unit → Chapter/Iyal → Topic boundary.

Teaching & Curriculum
Independent Study controls: Study Hour, Daily Topic Practice and Daily Topic Check are all optional and disabled by default. In linked mode Study follows actual teaching dates. In standalone mode Study becomes the explicit subject/scope-aware learning programme and can affect feasibility. Topic Practice and Topic Check are generated only when individually enabled and remain supplemental/opportunistic. Topic Check is diagnostic only and does not satisfy Class, Chapter, Unit, Half, Full, or any other formal assessment.
Teaching includes prescribed content, in-book examples and exercise/question practice. The next chapter/unit cannot begin while its mandatory Chapter/Unit Test is due.
Authoritative chapter/unit mapping is used when available. When detailed labels are unavailable, the planner may use explicitly labelled algorithmic progress segments computed from Configured Core Hours and the documented neutral approximately 6-hour planning-block rule; it never invents textbook chapter names.
Availability Rules
Morning / Afternoon entry fields: every day has separate AM and PM availability inputs. Morning accepts 12:00 AM–11:59 AM only; Afternoon accepts 12:00 PM–11:59 PM only. Either input may be disabled. When two enabled ranges are adjacent (gap ≤1 minute), the scheduling engine may treat them as one continuous operational window; the UI fields remain separately editable.
Unified operational-window rule: Teaching/Revision uses Subject Staff ∩ Student availability; formal Assessment uses Student availability only. In both cases, adjacent eligible ranges may join into one continuous operational window. The same break function is used by generation and validation.
Protected breaks: an operational window under 2h 30m has no forced break. For a continuous operational window of 2h 30m or longer, every protected interval actually crossed is unavailable: 10:30–10:40, 13:00–14:00 and 16:00–16:10. Teaching, Revision and formal Assessment use this same rule.
Formal assessment windows: formal examinations require Student availability only; subject-teacher availability is not required. An examination may bridge adjacent AM/PM inputs only when Student availability is continuous under the operational-window rule and it does not cross a protected break.
Time Format: Availability uses a compact explicit 12-hour field such as 06:00 AM or 08:00 PM. The application stores an equivalent 24-hour value internally for scheduling calculations.
Copy: use the row-level Copy button to copy only Morning or only Afternoon to all other days. Use Copy AM + PM to all days to copy both sessions for that subject or Student. Use Global Teacher Availability to apply AM 06:00–08:00 and/or PM 18:00–20:00 to every selected teacher across all days; Student availability remains independent.
Staff availability remains the first Teaching/Revision constraint. AM/PM are separate input controls, not an unconditional scheduling barrier when their enabled ranges are truly adjacent.
Teaching / Revision block rule (HF2): the normal block is 60 minutes. On a clean session, one continuous Teaching/Revision block may remain longer than 60 minutes, up to the available session window (maximum 120 minutes), when needed to close the exact configured workload without creating a later micro-fragment. A 45-minute sub-hour fallback is permitted only when a formal Test/Assessment segments that same eligible staff/student session. Teaching/Revision blocks of 15 or 30 minutes are prohibited. Residual time below the applicable minimum is intentionally left unused; the planner does not force-fill it.
Calendar & Holidays
Only dates inside the selected range are eligible. Tamil Nadu public holidays are blocked by default and may be explicitly overridden. Staff/student availability must still exist on an overridden date.
Capacity & Validation
Required teaching, revision and assessment demand is compared against eligible capacity. Study Hours are excluded unless Include Study Hours is checked; when enabled they participate in feasibility. In standalone mode, Study required hours equal the selected subjects' configured Core-Hour learning workload and are the only completion-evidence source. Daily Topic Practice and Daily Topic Check are separate optional supplemental activities: unchecked means ignored, checked means schedule where possible, but neither changes FEASIBLE / NOT FEASIBLE. Subject-level teaching shortfall remains independently checked.
Revision Programme
Optional: Revision is excluded by default. Enable Include Revision Programme and set the allocation percentage of Configured Core Hours.
When enabled, the percentage is applied subject-by-subject. Linked/Teacher revision starts after the subject academic phase. Standalone Student Revision begins only after the subject configured Core-Hour learning workload is completed through actual scheduled, subject/scope-aware Study rows. Linked Student Revision begins only after locked Teacher teaching completion.
Revision Exams are available only when the Revision Programme is enabled and use Student availability only.
NEET / JEE Rules
Integrated: select exactly one grade. 11th Integrated uses only the Class 11 NEET/JEE-aligned competitive scope; 12th Integrated uses only the Class 12 scope. The two grades are never combined.
Repeater: intentionally retains the accepted combined Class 11 + Class 12 NEET/JEE syllabus baseline.
HF8 grade separation is sourced from the official 2026 competitive syllabus identities and aligned to the official CBSE/NCERT 2026-27 Class XI/XII subject structures. Units that span both grades are represented as explicit grade-aligned scope slices only for Integrated; the accepted combined Repeater masters remain unchanged. HF9 computes Half-Syllabus milestones from the ordered verified curriculum and Configured Core Hours. Integrated 11th/12th remain separate; Repeater continues to use its accepted combined baseline.
Schedule Generation
The engine uses eligible dates/times, curriculum progression, assessment prerequisites and holiday rules. It emits UNSCHEDULED exceptions instead of inventing unavailable time.
Warnings & Exceptions
GREEN feasible. AMBER controlled exception/reduction/dependency. RED required capacity/activity cannot be satisfied. UNSCHEDULED means the activity remains required but no valid slot was found.
Downloads & Reports
CSV exports schedule rows. JSON exports enhanced calculation inputs, availability, overrides, assessment configuration, validation evidence and structured schedule rows. Student Mode can load a Teacher JSON as its locked parent plan. Print / Save PDF prints a role-aware dedicated report with the approved UPhills banner. Record rows print on a plain white background; the live application screen is never printed.
